Microsoft Indic Language Input is a typing tool for Hindi and many other indian languages. It is a virtual keyboard which allows to type text directly in any application. It is available for both, online and offline use. Online web version adds on to web browsers like chrome, firefox, opera, safari, ie etc.. ये सुविधा यहा उप्ल्ब्द है।
Just download the desktop version, it works for both. If it doesn’t then do the other. I have windows vista and it works pretty well for all my hindi writings. Once you get it installed you will see at bottom right an icon with logo EN. Click on it and click show toolbar. A virtual tool bar will appear which enable you to write in hindi. It actually looks like this.
Shortcut way around is to click on EN button and choose Hindi. Now you can write in English representing hindi like hai which means है. Its really so great of Microsoft to provide this feature.
